Continual professional development (CPD) is very important for teachers. English language is a live changeable system and teachers need to learn a lot about it. Every teacher faces with a problem of continual professional development. From one hand, we have lots of teaching hours, but from the other hand we want to grow professionally. There are a lot of opportunities to grow professionally for teachers during their teaching careers. But sometimes it can be difficult to choose a course you need among lots of suggestions in the CPD area. On July,2,2016 I will give a presentation on this topic. It will be interesting for teachers who want to know about different ways of CPD on different stages of their teaching carrier. It reflects the nature of teacher development as a lifelong experience extending from initial training to throughout the whole teacher’s career, and represent the wide range of needs and contexts to which continuing professional development programmes respond. I will share my experience of teacher training on the British Council courses, speak about free useful resources for professional development and global EFL teachers community.

IATEFL conference 2015,Manchester.
International Youth Forum model as a leadership skillbuilder.
Every year I organise an "International Youth forum" model for about 150 students of Nakhodka schools. It's a big event at school for local students with internantional guests' invitation. Previous years it was called 'G8 model meeting",but last year we slightly changed the format. On this forum students choose a country, study its problems, make a presentation on the hot issues and discuss the solutions of the problems. The main goals of the event are to develop students' leadeship skills,to get involve them into discussion about global problems and to find the way of solving these problems. Moreover this forum is held in English only and students have English language practiice all over the event. A lot of preparation students make in advance, they bring PPT presentation about the country, make flags, draw a poster with country information. They have a plenary session where they present a country and small groups sessions where they discussed topics with invited international guests.
You can watch links to have an idea about the event.

I think that teachers will be interested in my experience of organising the event and it will be very usefull for their students to think globally.
